You know all those famous, silhouetted animal liberation stencils? I love to find the images that they were based on and read about those old actions. In this case the original image is from the iconic Valentines Day beagle rescue at Life Science Research in Stock, Essex. You can check it out in the August / September 1983 Issue of BUAV Liberator, available for free on TALON.
Mud + Pup = True happiness.
Step 1. Don’t.
Step 2. That’s it.
This is one of the most heartbreaking pictures I have seen about animal testing. The hand of an unknown monkey at a testing facility, grasping the side of the trash can after they discarded her for dead. Many people believe Veganism is a diet. No, it is not. It is the belief that all animals have the right to live out their full lives without being enslaved, encarcerated, exploited and killed without regard for what is right or fair.

"This is my first cabbage! You know, a lot of times they’re kind of soft, but this one is sold! It’s going to be good eatin’!"
"What are you going to make with it?"
"Well, this one I’m giving to my parents. You have to give the first one away or you just spoil the whole spirit of gardening."
This is the most victorious photo of cabbage ever captured.

I got this beautiful lovely tattoo 2 days ago. It is a portrait of a turkey named Seneca that I met while i was interning at Animal Place. I am so thankful for all that little guy taught me. And I can’t wait to go back to visit him very soon.
